The Three P's

This was built for three types of people.

Pain

We specialize in idiopathic pain, meaning pain of unknown origin. If you have been to several doctors, had all of the scans, seen chiropractors and acupuncturists, and your pain still persists, these are the chronic pain cases we built Saint Bartholomew to serve. Our unique approach has produced astounding success for cases previously thought to be unsolvable.

Perform

If you are training for a marathon, a 5K, a triathlon, or any physical endeavor, our genMAX approach will ensure your body is operating on a strong foundation and performing at its absolute highest level. Our staff is comprised of former NBA, MLB, and NCAA performance coaches who are exceptionally well-versed in the science of human performance.

Prevent

Do you want to start your health transformation, optimize your metrics, and improve your longevity? Our genMAX system was built to help you reach your genetic maximum by restoring the four major systems of your body and increasing the performance of those systems through comprehensive training programs and personal, 1-on-1 touch.

What You'll Get

What you walk away with.

#1

45-Point Full-Body Assessment

You will receive a score from 0 to 100 based on your test results in four categories: Posture & Breathing, Strength, Energy Production, and Nervous System Control.

#2

Detailed Report on Findings

You go home with a detailed report outlining your test results so you can review it later without forgetting a thing.

#3

Road Map to Success

A step-by-step plan for how we will go about improving your test results, and how we will measure your progress along the way.

The genMAX Score

Your body has a score. Most have never seen it.

We built a diagnostic protocol around the four systems that govern human health and performance. We measure all four. We run the numbers. And we produce a single output: your genMAX Score a number from 0 to 100 representing how much of your genetic maximum potential your body is currently able to access.

No one should fall below an 85% on this assessment, and yet the average first-time score is 35%.

That gap is not a life sentence. But it is a warning.

What We Measure

The four systems.

There are four systems of the body that contribute significantly to pain and performance. If you train each of them well enough, we believe you reduce the likelihood of being in pain to nearly zero. If you're in pain, one or more of these systems has broken down.
  1. 01

    Posture & Breathing

Ideal posture means your ribs sit perfectly stacked on top of the pelvis, what we call The Stack. Great breathing means 360-degree expansion of the rib cage while holding that position. You take 22,000 breaths every day; if the mechanics are off, you reinforce a dysfunctional pattern 22,000 times a day.

  2. 02

    Strength

If you can find The Stack, how resilient are you in holding it? Bumped on the court, tripping on the sidewalk, carrying a kid up the stairs: there are minimum strength requirements for a pain-free body. Most people believe they are meeting them. Most are not.

  3. 03

    Energy Production

You may feel great at 8am and fall apart at 2pm. Metabolic conditioning is what lets you hold position all day, all week, all month, all year. It is trained differently than strength, and most gym-goers never touch it.

  4. 04

    Central Nervous System Regulation

Under stress the body extends the spine, flares the ribs, and tilts the pelvis, pulling you out of The Stack. Deadlines, finances, and family can trigger that response through thought alone. The final system we measure is whether you can hold posture and breathing under cognitive and emotional strain.

Pulling one lever moves one needle. Your genMAX score requires all four.

Clinical Standards Process

We don't skip ahead. We don't guess. We follow the data.

Once your genMAX assessment is complete, we systematically restore each system in order, and only when the minimums from the previous system have been met.
  1. 01

    Assess

Test all four systems and generate your genMAX Score.

  2. 02

    Posture & Breathing

Address the foundation first. Everything else is built on it.

  3. 03

    Strength

Build resilience once the foundation is stable.

  4. 04

    Energy Production

Develop metabolic conditioning to sustain position all day.

  5. 05

    CNS Regulation

Regulate the nervous system to hold the gains under real-world stress.

  6. 06

    Re-test & Advance

Update your genMAX Score. Move to the next threshold.

Nervous System Assessment

A dedicated look at what stress is doing to your body.

Alongside the physical data that generates your genMAX Score, we run a dedicated 22-question evaluation designed to identify how much strain your nervous system is currently carrying.

Those results are compared against key biometric data: heart rate variability, resting heart rate, and respiratory rate to produce your nervous system sub-score. It folds into your overall genMAX Score and tells us whether your pain is being driven or sustained by a dysregulated stress response, which, in our experience, is far more common than most people realize.

Meet Sean Light

Built by someone who lived the problem.

Sean Light is the former Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Los Angeles Lakers, Arizona Diamondbacks, and New York Yankees, and the founder and Principal of Saint Bartholomew.

Sean spent over a decade inside professional sports building the systems, frameworks, and diagnostic protocols that keep elite athletes performing at the highest levels of competition. What he observed during that time became the foundation of everything Saint Bartholomew does: the athletes who performed the longest were not just the most talented. They were the ones whose four core systems were most precisely maintained.

What drives Sean is a belief formed through personal experience. As a lifelong sufferer of debilitating migraine headaches, Sean experienced firsthand the limitations of conventional medicine, and what it finally feels like when the right system produces results. He built Saint Bartholomew because he knew the tools he used with professional athletes belonged to every high-performing human being who refuses to accept less.

He holds more than 30 professional credentials including Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach, Licensed Massage Therapist, and Postural Restoration Trained through the Postural Restoration Institute. He has spoken at national industry conferences and guest lectured at universities.

Common Questions

Honest answers before you book.

What actually happens during the 90-minute assessment session?

Each assessment starts with a discussion so we can flush out all the details of your situation. We take a detailed history, go over your symptoms and discuss what has worked and what has not worked in the past. Then we begin our four-system assessment: posture, breathing and range of motion testing, followed by a battery of strength, metabolic conditioning and central nervous system assessments. After your testing, you'll sit down with our team to discuss the findings and get recommendations on a plan of attack.

What do I walk away with?

The goal of this session is for you to come away with a clear understanding of how well your body is performing across the four systems and a step-by-step plan to improve it. You'll spend time with our team, get tailored feedback, and even walk away with a free book, an information packet, and a detailed report on your assessment results.

Is this right for me?

This program is right for you if you are committed to doing the Work. It requires hard work, consistency, and time to see results. If you are not able to commit to 3 to 5 hours of exercise per week, if you are unwilling to push yourself physically, or if you do not believe you can stick to a plan for 4 to 6 months, then this is not the program for you.

How much does it cost?

The reason we run the assessment this way is so we can lay out everything we find and fully explain our process to you, so you can make an informed decision as to whether or not this is something you'd like to pursue. Additionally, we want to make sure we can actually help you.
