The Story
A migraine in a major-league training room changed everything.

In second grade, Sean Light got his first migraine. By the time he was working in professional sports, he'd tried every pill and every specialist, and the only thing that ever worked was lying down in a cool, dark room and waiting it out.
One afternoon in his first year with the Arizona Diamondbacks, the migraine came back hard. A senior trainer on the staff put him on a table, moved his legs around, did something quiet with his right glute, and a few minutes later, for the first time he could remember, the pain just turned off.
That afternoon became the rest of his career. Postural Restoration courses, books from the back of the syllabus, a strength-and-conditioning job with the Los Angeles Lakers, and eventually a clinic of his own in New York: Saint Bartholomew.
The clients walking through the clinic doors are rarely first-timers. They've seen a million specialists, tried physical therapy and acupuncture and joint replacements and nerve ablations. They show up at Saint Bartholomew because nothing else worked.
Saint Bartholomew is the public-facing version of that work: the daily insights, the books, the podcast, and the newsletter, so you can start finding the pattern underneath your pain whether or not you ever step foot in the clinic.
