Saint Bartholomew

Who We Help

The people other systems gave up on.

A group of Saint Bartholomew clients at the clinic in New York.
  • Adults who've already tried PT, chiropractic, injections, or surgery.
  • Parents and professionals who can't take six months off to rest.
  • Lifelong athletes who refuse to accept you're just getting older.
  • People who've been told the imaging looks fine but they still hurt.

Our Mission

Most chronic pain is a misunderstanding.

We exist because too many people are told the only thing left is to manage the pain. We don't believe that. We've watched thousands of people, pro athletes and grandparents alike, get their bodies back when someone finally found the pattern underneath the pain.

The Lakers Years

The system was built on an NBA floor.

Sean Light is the former Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Los Angeles Lakers, and before that the Arizona Diamondbacks and New York Yankees. The Lakers years are where the framework Saint Bartholomew runs on stopped being a theory and became a daily standard.

An NBA season is 82 games plus travel, and nobody gets to rest their way out of a problem. That environment forces a different question. Not "where does it hurt," but "what position is this body living in, and what is that position costing it every night?"

Working with players in that setting, Sean saw the same thing over and over: the athletes who lasted the longest were not always the most talented. They were the ones whose breathing, position, and movement patterns were most precisely maintained. Warmups became diagnostics. Every rep on the floor was a chance to check whether the body was still organized or quietly compensating.

That is the standard we brought off the court and into the clinic. The people we work with now are parents, professionals, and former athletes rather than starters at Crypto.com Arena, but they get the same level of attention a pro roster gets, because the pattern underneath the pain does not care what your job title is.
